About the Apostolic School of Theology (ASOT)
Our Vision
The Apostolic School of Theology (ASOT) exists to equip called men and women with sound Apostolic doctrine, disciplined biblical scholarship, and practical ministry competence for service in the Church of Jesus Christ.
Our vision is to cultivate a generation of ministers, teachers, pastors, and scholars who are firmly grounded in the Apostolic faith, rightly dividing the Word of God, and faithfully advancing the work established by Christ and the apostles.
Our Mission
The mission of ASOT is to provide accessible, rigorous, and doctrinally faithful theological education rooted in Apostolic Christianity. We are committed to:
- Teaching biblical truth with clarity and integrity
- Preserving Apostolic doctrine as delivered in Scripture
- Training students to think theologically, exegete responsibly, and minister effectively
- Preparing leaders for service in the local church and broader Christian community
ASOT seeks not merely to inform, but to form—developing both theological understanding and spiritual maturity.
Doctrinal Position (Brief)
ASOT is unapologetically Apostolic in doctrine and conviction. We affirm:
- The absolute authority and inspiration of the Holy Scriptures
- The oneness of God as revealed in Jesus Christ
- Salvation through repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost
- The continuation of the Church’s mission as established in the Book of Acts
Our instruction is rooted in biblical exegesis, apostolic teaching, and the historic witness of the early Church.

ASOT approaches theological education with both reverence and rigor. Our academic philosophy is grounded in the conviction that sound doctrine and disciplined study are essential to faithful ministry.

Leadership & Advisory Board
ASOT is led by Dr. Michael Earl Saltmarch, Founder and Senior Pastor, whose academic and ministerial background informs the vision and structure of the institution.
The school is supported by an Advisory Board composed entirely of college-educated, born-again believers of Apostolic persuasion. Members of the board are:
- Theologically trained in Apostolic doctrine
- Experienced pastors, teachers, and ministers
- Committed to biblical orthodoxy and spiritual integrity
Collectively, the leadership and advisory board represent over 100 years of combined experience in biblical teaching, pastoral ministry, preaching, and practical church leadership.
Our History
ASOT is a young institution by design, established to meet the present need for doctrinal clarity and Apostolic theological training in a rapidly changing religious landscape.
While the school itself is newly formed, its foundation rests upon decades of faithful ministry, teaching, and pastoral experience represented within its leadership. ASOT stands on proven Apostolic conviction while intentionally building for future generations.
